We are proud to use the top curriculum in education. The Creative Curriculum is an amazing educational resource that benefits children of all interests and learning abilities. It is fully based upon research which has shown how activity and discovery are the best methods of learning for young children. Based upon this premise, our teachers construct 8 active learning centers in each classroom. These centers are designed according to age and developmental level, and are stocked with an array of active learning materials. Children are attracted to these fun educational activities because they get to ‘learn by doing’. This fosters a true love of learning in every child. Many of the Tots Unlimited children who use this curriculum score consistently above the standard requirements for kindergarten outlined by the state of Arizona.
Childcare programs should be designed with the well-being of each child in mind. Tots Unlimited Preschools knows that each child needs to spend as much time with their parent. This is why we have created a program that allows each parent to pay for only the hours that they use our services. We transport children in Certified Mini School Busses, which are much safer than the vans that most childcare centers use. We lock the doors of our facility with code or key, and we install closed circuit television screens in each classroom. Further, we regularly maintain our staff’s CPR and First Aid certifications.
The Tots University classes that we host on weekends combined with our monthly inservices make our training regime exceed state requirements. This means that we have the highest trained staff in the Phoenix area. This staff develops care and education for children of all abilities, ranging from 1 to 12 years in age.
