One way we do this is by using America’s leading curriculum: The Creative Curriculum. The Creative Curriculum is designed for infants up to 5 year-olds, and can be used in a variety of homes, centers, and schools. Created in 2001, The Creative Curriculum is based upon 75 years of research into the best ways to educate children. We have 8 learning centers where children can choose from numerous activities. These age-appropriate activities are designed to instigate interest, creativity, and motivation. The Creative Curriculum simplifies assessment and creates learning programs that allow for collaboration between teachers AND parents. These learning centers are stations where children can choose from numerous activities that are designed based upon the concepts of The Creative Curriculum. Working together, teachers and parents are able to tailor an educational program that is unique to their child’s needs and interests.
Children love to be outdoors. It allows them to discover yet another exciting part of their world. All Tots Unlimited Preschools have beautiful shady and safe playgrounds that are designed to meet the needs of children of all ages. Our play equipment is safe and our playgrounds are designed according to age and developmental level. Like our playgrounds, each Tots Unlimited classroom is designed to cater to the creativity, curiosity, and high energy of each child. Our classrooms are safe and clean. The children are assigned to the particular classroom that is appropriate for their age and their level of development. Every one of our facilities, whether inside or outside, is developed in ways that stimulate a love of learning in each child.
Tots Unlimited Preschools make safety their number one concern. This is why we equip each classroom with closed-circuit televisions, and code-key access doors. All of our staff maintains updated CPR and First Aid certificates. We use mini-school buses when transporting children. These busses are actually safer than the commonly used vans.
