With this curriculum, every lesson is learned by the child ‘doing’ the learning as opposed to passively listening to an instructor teach to an entire class. Our Phoenix child care centers follow the concepts of The Creative Curriculum that emphasize the importance of engagement and activity in learning. This is why the learning activities at our locations are created in ways that allow our children to use exploration and discovery as they learn. Each of our rooms has 8 learning centers arranged in a developmentally appropriate manner. The Creative Curriculum concepts have boosted Tots Unlimited above AZ standards for kindergarten entrance standards.
Our payment plan requires that parents only pay for what they get. In other words, our moms and dads are only charged for the time that their child is at our facility. We arranged this unique payment plan because we know how unfair and illogical the traditional preschool payment plans can be. So the bill that our parents receive does not reflect a flat monthly fee. The modern workforce has more and more jobs that are accompanied with work schedules that change often. Our payment plan works with these schedules and, most importantly, it allows each child to spend the most quality time with their mom or dad as possible.
Clean and safe facilities are a must at Tots Unlimited Preschools. We value our facilities and make sure that every part of them is child friendly. Age-appropriate play equipment and furniture are assigned to every one of our classrooms and playgrounds. We have separate playgrounds for children of all ages. Each of our playgrounds offers plenty of shade and appropriate play equipment.
Safe transportation is vitally important to Tots Unlimited Preschools. Thus we use only Certified Mini-School Busses to transport our children to and from destinations. Our facilities are also the safest around. Our code-key access doors and closed circuit TV monitors ensure the safety of our buildings. Our staff is another component of our safety regime. They maintain current certification in First Aid and CPR.
Tots Unlimited lead teachers are the most highly-trained professionals in Phoenix. They attend special weekend classes at Tots University, and also attend monthly in-service training seminars. Their frequent training sessions allow them to learn new ways to implement The Creative Curriculum, manage special behavior issues, and brainstorm ways to even further meet the needs of the children. The amount of training that our staff members undergo exceeds the Arizona state requirements. We offer high quality care and education programs for children ranging from 1-12 years of age. Each age group is assigned to their own programs, classrooms, and playgrounds.
