We subscribe to The Creative Curriculum, which is a written curriculum that is based upon evidence-based concepts, particularly the concept that children learn best by inquiry. In other words, children should be provided motivational learning activities and materials that stimulate their natural curiosity and pique their interest. At our Tempe learning center, these concepts are applied via eight learning areas in each classroom. Children are able to interact with the activities and materials that they find there. It is the natural inquisitiveness of each child that stimulates the learning as opposed to the standard teacher-instruction method. It is important for parents to note that The Creative Curriculum exceeds Arizona state standards for kindergarten-readiness.

At our facilities, there is no charge during the times that you are not using our services. All we need is 24 hour notice; it’s that simple. Tots Unlimited Preschools all have shady playgrounds and sunny classrooms. We know that it is important for children to learn with other children of the same age and developmental level. Thus we have separate playgrounds and classrooms for each different age group. Our classrooms are filled with furniture that is child-friendly. In the same manner, each of our age-specific playgrounds are filled with exciting play equipment that fits the size of the children. Our classrooms and our playgrounds are safe, clean, and perfect for children of all ages and sizes.
We use Certified Mini School busses because, surprisingly, they are safer than vans. We also make sure that the staff at each location maintains their CPR and First Aid certifications. All of our doors can only be opened with a key or code, and each classroom has a closed circuit television that ensures the safety of the children and staff.
Tots Unlimited Preschools requires their instructors to attend more training sessions than what is required by the state of Arizona. The best part about this is that our teachers would participate even if these training seminars and classes were not mandatory. These monthly in service opportunities and weekend Tots University classes are great opportunities for our instructors to collaborate to determine the best ways to employ The Creative Curriculum, and brainstorm ideas for how to provide the specific care that each unique Tots Unlimited child needs. Our Tempe location provides care for children up to the age of 12. We also provide excellent and nurturing infant care. Each of our different care and education programs are designed specifically for each separate age group.
