Among other successful attributes, this curriculum is well respected for its ability to produce kindergarten-readiness scores that are consistently above the Arizona state requirement. Tots Unlimited Preschools uses the concepts of this written curriculum when they create 8 learning areas in every classroom. These centers are fully stocked with fun and educational materials and activities that motivate children to develop a natural love of learning. This unique curriculum allows each child to create questions as they work through the activities at each station. This is in line with the fundamental concept of The Creative Curriculum: children learn best by generating and finding answers to their own questions.
Tots Unlimited Preschools loves to help parents in any way they can. One way we help is by keeping quality of care high and cost of childcare low by offering a unique payment plan. We do not ask parents to pay for times when their child is out of our facility (sick day, holiday, etc…). This pay-as-you-go plan is perfect for parents, especially those who have work schedules that change throughout the month. Our plan allows us to ensure that each child gets as many opportunities as possible to be with their parent.
Tots Unlimited Preschools believe that a fertile learning environment is just as important as having an excellent curriculum. Therefore, we invest a substantial amount into our playgrounds and classrooms to ensure that they are safe, clean, and fun places for children to develop intellectually and socially. Playgrounds and classrooms are age-oriented at each Tots Unlimited facility. Our playgrounds offer plenty of shade, as well as fun play equipment for each age group. In addition, we have separate playgrounds and corresponding play equipment for each age group. In a similar manner, our classrooms have furniture, educational activities, and toys that are divided up according to the age group in each classroom.
Safety is the most important thing to all staff members at every Tots Unlimited facility. We choose to use Certified Mini-School busses to transport children because they are actually much safer than multi-passenger vans. We also go above and beyond by installing classroom closed-circuit TV monitors and code-key access doors. Our teachers are continually trained in CPR and First Aid.
Our lead instructors have the experience and knowledge that is necessary to motivate children and guide them as they learn and develop. They are trained at a level that is actually above the state requirements. We ensure this level of expertise by holding monthly in-services as well as weekend classes where our lead teachers discuss how they can improve their programs and provide specialized care to each child. They are long-term professionals who are adept at guiding and offering encouragement to children as they learn in a safe and clean environment. These professionals have care programs designed for infants, toddlers, toilet trainers, and preschoolers. We also have programs for those prekindergarteners who are prepping for elementary school. Finally, we also provide excellent before and after school care to school-agers up until age of 12.
